Return of the Jedi
Although in the wrong order, I watched all of the Star Wars movies the last nine days: First II, then III, IV, I, V and just yet, VI. IV, V and VI in the digital remastered 2004 DVD edition. To heal the wounds episode III caused. To remind myself that all ends well.
And I couldn't have been more surprised, excited and sad when I watched the final scene of the saga ending Return of the Jedi. George Lucas, you're a fricken genius. Thank you very very very much.
p.s: Sorry for the poor quality. Still without a laptop I'm stuck with dated university equipment and old fashioned methods..
p.s 2: Although I think it's utterly brilliant, as this is Anakin before he decided to become Darth Vader, most of the fans don't like this change. More on George Lucas' adaption work on his masterpieces in the Wikipedia Encyclopedia. From what I understand they even added a shot of the Jedi temple in one of the final scenes of ROTJ. :D Another fully remastered DVD version of the two trilogies is expected to be released in 2007. I love it.
I actually think, rather than making a VII, VIII and IX, George Lucas will continue to work on the cohesiveness of the six existing movies. Just don't cut Han Solo out, we like him the way he his. ;-)
p.s 3: For those who have no idea what I am talking about: In the line of Jedi spirits to accompany Luke Skywalker, including Yoda and Obi Wan Kenobi, they replaced the original actor who played the older Anakin Skywalker (Sebastian Shaw) by Hayden Cristensen, the Anakin we know from II & III!
