Marjolijn Kamphuis (1981) has been an Internet enthusiast ever since the late nineties. With ongoing amazement she indulges into digital trendspotting, both online, in other media and during events. Her particular interests include Crossmedia, or the way traditional media are changing their businessmodels towards digital opportunities, Crowdsourcing and User Generated Content, Brands and Branding, Webdesign, Interactive-, Viral- and Buzzmarketing and Innovative Entrepreneurship.
She currently works as a Project Manager Digital Media at MTV Networks in Amsterdam, coordinating online projects for all channels including Nickelodeon, TMF, MTV, Comedy Central and all digital channels. Projects range from branded content microsites for advertisers, to interactive web- or mobile portals for featured TV shows or channels.
Before this Marjolijn worked as Online Marketing Manager at Orange, after she had successfully coordinated the launch of music portal Orangemusic.nl in cooperation with Universal Music in May 2007. She started her professional career at Talpa Interactive as a webeditor, producing sites and backstage video for sites such as GooischeVrouwen.tv and Rough TV.
In March 2007 she launched a private viral marketing stunt GiveMeAnEOS.nl, which recently got her a nominated as Online Media woman of the year. And a free camera. In November 2007 spoke at Nyenrode University about User Generated Content as part of the Online Strategic Marketing Masterclass.
